The plaster mortar needs to have: easy to stir, easy to spread, non-stick knife, long development time, good wettability for the net cloth, not easy to cover and other characteristics. The above requirements can be achieved by adding suitable cellulose ether products like Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose(HPMC) to the mortar.
Easy to carding, continuous, maintain the state of carding lines; Can make the mortar is easy to wet the board body and wall, easy to bond; Excellent water retention rate, can ensure that workers have enough time to embed glass mesh cloth in wet mortar, avoid mortar peeling when plastering; It can have good wrapping property to lightweight filler and reduce water absorption of mortar. It can improve the construction and increase the yield of mortar. It can keep the consistency of mixing slurry for a long time, with less bleeding and good stability of slurry. Appropriate cellulose ether can maximize the degree of bonding.
Increases Adhesion Strength
Although mesh lath enables reinforcement, it also increases surface area, enabling the mortar adhesive to dry out quicker. The water retention provided by us can delay mortar drying thereby allowing higher adhesion strength to develop.
Prolongs Open Time
Some times corrections need to be made after EPS or XPS panels are placed. We can give workers prolonged open time to correct such mistakes without having to clean up old adhesive and applying new adhesives.
